What do People do with their Amazon Echos?

Since the November 2014 launch of the first Amazon Echo, the basic question has been, how will people use this thing? Four model generations later, with multiple form factors and expanding capabilities or “skills”, the answer is becoming clearer. While plenty of Echos are used as paperweights, a vast percentage of Echo owners call on Alexa on a daily basis.
